Participation-Innovation Camp 2020

07-06-2019

[Heads-up: The working language of the conference will be German. Thus this is rather for informational purposes and to give an example for a Camp-format. Similar camps could be organised on an international level and about different topics as well.]

After 12 years of the Procedere conference in Loccum we want to change things up a bit: from 2020 onwards we want to organise the conference as an open camp, which means that the participants themselves design the content of the meeting. Everyone can propose topics, hold workshops and presentation or pitch a discussion. Our vision: a participation-fair to connect, discuss and inspire one another with the overall goal to improve the participatory practice in politics, economics and society.

Therefore we invite experts of participation, organisation and democracy developers, researchers, decision-makers and counsellors. Everyone can create inputs and pitch ideas. The only premise is that it should either revolve around participatory methods and tools or around projects and initiatives that work with such. The sector and area (politics, civil society, education, church economy etc.) are irrelevant and all is welcome as participation can and should happen in all those areas.
